The latest Kia Picanto is available in different versions. It comes with a 1.0 DPi engine, letting efficiency take centre stage in terms of performance.

Interior
The car has an 8-inch touchscreen display. The system can help the driver access navigation details and stay connected to their phones. Kia Picanto allows seamless integration with both Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Buyers can also connect their car and phone with the help of the Kia Connect app. The car is equipped with cup holders, USB-C ports for charging, a wireless charging dock with a rubber pad to prevent phone slippage, and a cooling fan to prevent overheating. The car’s voice recognition feature enables drivers to carry out certain tasks without taking their hands off the steering wheel. The driver has a 4.2-inch LCD digital display screen that lends a modern touch to the cockpit. The display is not cluttered, making it easier to read even in low-light conditions.

Safety
Kia prioritises the safety of their cars, and the latest Picanto line is no exception. The South Korean automobile manufacturer includes many safety features in the latest Picanto line. It includes SEW, which issues exit warning messages when trying to move out of a parking space. It includes active assistance to ensure the safety of the car occupants and the others on the road. The car might also issue an alert when parked and another vehicle is approaching. The safety feature allows drivers to avoid mishaps and collisions. The Autonomous Emergency Braking feature prevents sudden collisions with other vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, and also when turning. Depending on the model one purchases, the car comes equipped with FCA 1.0 or FCA 1.5. The Rear Cross Traffic Assist system, available in the Picanto GT-Line, alerts drivers when there are pedestrians or cars passing at the rear of the car. The car brakes automatically when there is a risk of collisions. Picanto GT-Line also includes Blind Spot Monitoring, making changing lanes or reversing the car safer.

Driving assistance
Some driving assistance features in the latest Kia Picanto models include autonomous lane-keeping assist, intelligent speed sign assistance, and fatigue recognition. The autonomous lane-keeping assist system equips the car to detect the lane markings on the road and assist the driver in steering the vehicle. Alternatively, it can also take note of the vehicles in one’s lane and assist with keeping one’s vehicle in the same lane. Intelligent speed sign assistance, or ISLA, gives drivers the necessary information to keep up with the posted speed limit. The windscreen camera captures details about speed limits and driving restrictions. It then displays the information on the navigation screen and digital display for easy confirmation. A unique feature of the Kia Picanto is the DAW+ system. It observes the driver’s acceleration and steering patterns. It helps the car detect every time the driver is unfocused or tired. The system warns the driver of the change in their behaviour with a warning sound and a coffee sign in the cluster display.

Warranty
All Kia drivers have access to a 7-year warranty when they purchase the car from an official dealership. The full-factory warranty period comes with a 150,000 km limitation. But during the initial 3 years, no mileage restrictions are applicable. There can be certain limitations or conditions that are not common across all Kia car models. Most include a 10-year bodywork warranty with no limitation on the mileage covered. Even the on-board 12V battery has no mileage limitations for its 2-year warranty. But the company does have a 150,000 km limitation for the 5-year warranty on the paint job. The limitation on the 3-year audio navigation system is set to 100,000 km. Buyers must confirm the warranty conditions or coverage for specific accessories when added since the general warranty does not apply.

Buyers can speak to the online dealership or Kia outlets for any available offers. They can also check for any ongoing deals or whether the seller is willing to add some accessories to make the car purchase more beneficial.
